APPOINTMENTS TO THE COMMITTEE ON AGING

SUMMARY

 

The Community and Human Services Commission oversees the Committee on Aging (CoA), which comprises nine members. Presently, there are two vacancies on the Committee.

 

The Community and Human Services Commission Ad Hoc Selection Committee reviewed two applications from the November 2023 recruitment, which had already completed interviews. After careful consideration, the Committee has chosen candidates and recommends them for appointment, as listed below.

 

RECOMMENDATION

 

Recommended Action

Ad Hoc Selection Committee recommends the Community and Human Services Commission appoint Phyllis Munson and Raquel Hickernell to the Committee on Aging to serve a term to expire on August 31, 2028.

FINANCIAL REVIEW

 

The staff cost to prepare this report is estimated at $413, which is included in the operating budget of the Recreation and Human Services Department.
